Mark Andrews Is Not the Only Baltimore Ravens Star Dealing With Trade Talk

The NFL trade deadline is approaching, and the Baltimore Ravens could be one of the most active teams as they weigh whether to keep key players or move them for future assets. With the deadline set for 4 p.m. on November 4, front offices are working to fill roster gaps or offload veteran contracts.

Seven trades have already been completed this season. Last year saw 18 total deals, including eight on deadline day — the most in league history. The Ravens, sitting at 1-5 going into their bye week, may be looking to make moves on both sides of the ball.

Baltimore Ravens Trading Mark Andrews Rumors Gain Steam

Tight end Mark Andrews has been one of Baltimore’s top offensive players for years. But with Isaiah Likely returning to full health and Andrews in the final year of his contract, his name has surfaced in trade speculation.

The Ravens have already begun shifting their roster, recently trading pass rusher Odafe Oweh to clear cap space. Moving Andrews would be a significant decision for a franchise that has leaned on him heavily, but it could bring back valuable draft capital.

Baltimore’s offense has struggled this season, especially without quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has missed time with a hamstring injury. The team’s uncertain direction has led to questions about whether it will be a buyer or seller at the deadline.

DeAndre Hopkins Could Be Dealt Again

Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is also drawing interest, according to The Athletic. The 33-year-old signed a one-year deal with Baltimore in March and has made an impact when on the field. Hopkins is averaging 19.8 yards per reception and has two touchdowns.

Pro Football Focus (PFF) recently highlighted Hopkins as a potential trade candidate before the November 4 deadline. The outlet listed the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers as possible landing spots.

“Although the Ravens entered play Sunday ranked 22nd in offensive EPA per play, Hopkins has assembled a bounce-back season,” PFF wrote. “His 92.7 PFF receiving grade is the second-best among all receivers. On top of that, Hopkins has hauled in five of six contested targets and has yet to drop a pass.”

Baltimore Ravens WR Hopkins Is Familiar With a Big-Time Trade

Hopkins has been traded before. In October 2024, he went from the Tennessee Titans to the Kansas City Chiefs for a conditional fifth-round pick. He helped the Chiefs reach the Super Bowl and caught a touchdown in the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

So far this season, Hopkins has nine receptions for 178 yards and two touchdowns in six games. Over his career with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Titans, Chiefs, and Ravens, he has 993 receptions, 13,143 yards, and 85 touchdowns.

The Ravens face a critical decision: push for a turnaround or stockpile assets for the future. Trading veterans like Andrews or Hopkins would signal a shift toward rebuilding. Keeping them would mean the team still believes it can rally in the second half of the season.
