Despite the loss, All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson had 32 points, five rebounds and five assists while shooting 13/22 from the field and 4/7 from three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.

Brunson signed with the Knicks in the summer of 2022.
Since that point, he has become one of the best 20 players in the NBA (and helped the Knicks reach the NBA playoffs all three years).

Brunson was the 33rd pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Villanova.
He spent the first four years of his career playing for the Dallas Mavericks.
During that time period, Brunson (and Luka Doncic) led the franchise to the 2022 Western Conference finals.
