After a rough start to the 2025 NFL season, with the Baltimore Ravens losing five of their first six games, Derrick Henry and company appear to be back on track heading into Week 11, as the team has gotten some momentum going with three straight wins.
The Ravens have beaten the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings in consecutive weeks, hoping to turn their season around and get back into the playoff picture in the AFC.
However, they’ll have a potentially tough matchup ahead of them, facing the division rival Cleveland Browns, who pride themselves on the defensive side of the football, with the sole focus being to contain Henry and Lamar Jackson in Week 11 at Huntington Bank Field on Sunday.
Derrick Henry Opens Up About Facing the Browns’ Defense

Ahead of the AFC North divisional showdown against the Browns, Henry was asked about what jumps out at him when thinking about Cleveland’s defensive front ahead of this matchup on the road.
“They’re a disruptive front,” Henry said during Thursday’s media availability. “They’re a really good defense. They play well. They do a lot of different stunts and do the stunts well. They’ve got Myles Garrett. They’re just a solid group overall. It was the same way last year.”
Clearly, Henry has respect for the Browns’ defense and superstar Myles Garrett, as he knows he’s got a tall task ahead. He was also asked how important it will be on Sunday not to abandon the run while facing Cleveland.
“We saw it last game. They got the best of us. They were the better group last time we played them, so just looking at that film, seeing how we can be better. Focus on it in practice and execute it throughout practice, and let it translate to the game.
“We know it is going to be tough. Their defense is solid.”
Even though Henry claims the Browns got the best of them last time around in Week 2, Baltimore blew out Cleveland in that game, 41-17. However, the ground game was nonexistent in that game earlier in the season, which is likely what he was alluding to, with the Ravens racking up only 45 rushing yards, with the superstar running back limited to 23 yards on 11 carries.
With the Ravens seemingly back to form, it will be interesting to see whether the team can keep its momentum going and find some holes in the defense for Henry and company to exploit, as this will be a game Baltimore will not want to drop with such a small margin for error in the second half of the 2025 campaign.
Ravens’ Favorable Schedule During the Final Stretch

The Ravens may have had a bumpy start to the 2025 NFL season, but things might get a bit easier in the second half, with some favorable matchups down the stretch, starting with the Browns in Week 11.
After taking on the Browns on the road in Cleveland on Sunday, Baltimore will take on the New York Jets (2-8) and the Cincinnati Bengals twice (3-6). However, the team does still have two matchups against the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4), and without the two toughest remaining games on the schedule against the red-hot New England Patriots (9-2) and the formidable Green Bay Packers (5-3).
The Ravens definitely have a path to making the postseason and finishing the regular season on a strong note. Still, they’ll need some consistency moving forward while beating the teams they should beat with relative ease.
