Rayan Cherki has refused to rule out a move away from Lyon this summer, fuelling rumours that he could be on his way to the Premier League.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has enjoyed a magnificent campaign with Lyon, his boyhood team, racking up eight goals and ten assists in 29 appearances in Ligue 1.
He also caught the eye throughout Lyon’s Europa League campaign and scored in both legs of the side’s dramatic quarter-final defeat at the hands of Manchester United.
But speculation has been mounting that this season could be Cherki’s last at Groupama Stadium, with a host of Europe’s elite clubs known to be keeping close tabs on the youngster’s progress.
Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with a strong interest in Cherki and Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool have also been heavily linked ahead of the summer transfer window.

Asked whether a summer move could be on the cards at a press conference today, Cherki replied: ‘I don’t know. In any case, I know that I gave everything for the club. I did everything I could for Lyon.
‘This is a club that I will never forget and that will always remain in my heart. I stayed when many players left.’
Cherki put pen to paper on a contract extension with Lyon last summer, tying him to club until 2026.
The Frenchman’s new deal contains a €22.5million (£19m) release clause.
‘Today, I have no regrets, so whatever happens, I will give everything until my last minute for the club,’ he added.
The sought-after attacker is intent on ending the season on a high alongside Alexandre Lacazette, who will be on his way out of Lyon this summer.
‘I’m going to try to enjoy myself, give my friend Alex some pleasure – he deserves it,’ Cherki continued.
‘After that, we’ll see.’
The French media have been falling over themselves to sing Cherki’s praises across the season and last month, Lyon’s manager, Paulo Fonseca described the attacker as a rare talent.
‘I have been at some big clubs and I have rarely seen this kind of player,’ Fonseca told reporters.
‘Rayan is a talent. Sometimes, in the middle of a session, I ask myself: “How does he see these things?”‘
