Ricky Hatton’s funeral will be held at 12pm on Friday and fans will get the chance to pay their respects as the procession heads towards Manchester Cathedral.
Hatton, widely regarded as one of the icons of British boxing, was found dead at his home in Hyde at the age of 46 on September 14.
The 18-mile memorial route begins at 9:45am at the Cheshire Cheese pub on Stockport Road in Hyde before moving on to the Harehill Tavern in Hattersley.
The procession will then continue to The New Inn on Mottram New Road – a pub that Hatton’s parents used to own – where a dove release will take place.
The cortege will pause at Hatton’s Gym and pass by Hyde Town Hall before moving on to Betta Bodies Gym in Denton, where Hatton trained for his world title fights.

Before arriving at Manchester Cathedral for the funeral which is an invitation-only service, the procession will also pass by the AO Arena, formerly known as the M.E.N Arena, where some of the biggest fights of Hatton’s career were held, including his famous world title win against Kostya Tszyu.
After the funeral service at Manchester Cathedral, the cortege will make its way to the Etihad Stadium, home of Hatton’s boyhood club Manchester City, at around 1:15pm.
That will be the final chance for fans to pay tribute before a private service will be held.

Speaking earlier this month, Hatton’s son, Campbell, urged fans to line the streets to pay tribute to his father.
‘We are absolutely heartbroken… it was so unexpected,’ Campbell Hatton told ITV.
‘We had so many plans coming up, so it has knocked us for six, but obviously we are trying to be there for each other.
‘The outpouring of support from absolutely everyone has been amazing, so that’s helping us through a lot, but yes, absolutely heartbroken.’
Asked if he wanted a large turnout for his father’s funeral, Campbell said: ‘That’s exactly what he would have wanted.
‘He sees his biggest achievement as his fanbase, and that’s what he was most proud of.
‘So what he’d want would be the streets to be full of people, because everything he did, he did for his fans.’
