It came following the Thunderbirds’ 19-14 loss at Colorado Mammoth in Denver on December 21.

Fan taunting seemed to trigger Bell’s anger as he walked back into the tunnel following the defeat.

Three players managed to avoid responding to the heckling, but Bell reacted angrily to the verbal barbs and hand gestures being directed at them.

As he walked towards the tunnel, the 30-year-old then turned towards the fans standing at the barrier separating them from the crowd.

And he appeared to PUNCH one of the fans.

Bell then used his stick to hit a second fan over the head after they had pushed the barrier back.

Team-mates, other fans and security eventually managed to usher the long stick midfielder away.

The NLL released a statement the following day.
