Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs are coming up on the wedding of the century, and they’re both busy planning and prepping. While her followers think the wedding will take place on June 13 at her Rhode Island mansion or a venue nearby, but this could is keeping wedding details very private.
It makes sense, because why would Swift and Kelce want the world crashing their special day? When and where this wedding happens is top secret, and it’s obvious that this couple wants to keep it that way. But, something that Swift isn’t keeping private is her music.
Swift released her 2025 studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” in October of 2025. She released her third single off the set, “Elizabeth Taylor,” on March 10, and it followed two No. 1 hits in “Opalite” and “The Life of Ophelia.”
According to a March 22 feature in Forbes, Hugh McIntyre shared the good news that Swift joined fellow billionaire Rihanna with that song by debuting on the Pop Airplay chart the week it dropped, debuting at No. 30 out of 40 tracks. Now, there’s even more happy new about the single.
Taylor Swift Reaches Another Milestone With Her Latest Single
Swift’s official music video for “Elizabeth Taylor” has reached No. 1 on the U.S. Apple Music music video chart, according to Chart Data. That was a a quick rise to the top and shows the power of Swift.
The song’s melody is a winner. “I wanted melodies that were so infectious that you were almost angry at it and lyrics that are just as vivid, but crisp and focused and completely intentional,” Swift said of the songwriting on “The Life of a Showgirl” during her appearance on the “New Heights” podcast in August of 2025.
So, Swift put hard work and creativity into the video, and it worked. The video features clips from an array of film star Elizabeth Taylor’s most iconic films, such as 1958’s “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” 1963’s “Cleopatra” and 1966’s “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” According to official Swift fan page Taylor Nation, the video was released in honor of the final day of Women’s History Month, which runs in March.
Of Elizabeth Taylor, Swift said, “She is always someone that I’ve looked up to as being this very glamorous, very beloved, but for some reason a polarizing figure, which I found myself in that place, too.”
