Taylor Swift has become the most famous Kansas City Chiefs fan on the planet, and the singer is repping her adopted team once again in her latest project.
Swift set a number of records during her globe-hopping Eras Tour, which came to a conclusion last year. The singer has moved on and released a new album, but is still looking back at a new project that gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the tour.
Swift shared some important news about the project — and showed off her love of the team — just before the Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos in a game with major playoff implications.
Taylor Swift Supporting Travis Kelce
Swift was in the spotlight this week as the trailer for the six-part docuseries titled “The End of an Era” was released. As People magazine noted, the singer repped the Chiefs in the trailer and gave a glimpse of fiancé Travis Kelce.
“In a trailer for the six-part The End of an Era Disney+ special, streaming on Dec. 12, the ‘Fate of Ophelia’ singer, 35, is seen bare-faced (or wearing subtle makeup) and with her banged blonde hair unstyled in behind-the-scenes footage,” the report noted. “She also wears Kansas City Chiefs merch in support of her fiancé, Travis Kelce, who also makes a quick appearance in the teaser.”
The report added that the series will give “an unfiltered look at how the Grammy winner winds down after pulling off her three-hour shows.” That could include Kelce, who supported Swift by attending a series of shows during the Eras Tour — when they didn’t conflict with his duties with the Chiefs.
Kelce and Swift were first spotted together near the start of the Eras Tour in the summer of 2023, later confirming their relationship and moving quickly ahead. The couple got engaged earlier this year, though they have kept plans for the wedding largely a secret.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Enjoyed Chiefs Bye Week
The Chiefs are heading into what could be their biggest game of the season, facing the division-leading Broncos with the chance to claw their way back into contention. The Chiefs lost to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9 to fall to 5-4, then spent their bye week getting healthier and preparing for the showdown with the Broncos.
Kelce and Swift also used the opportunity to spend some time together. As TMZ reported, the couple enjoyed a night out in New York City during Kansas City’s bye week.
Swift will likely be watching from home as the Chiefs take on the Broncos as the singer has only attended games at Arrowhead Stadium over the last two seasons.
