Taylor Swift’s Status of Attending Chiefs-Broncos Game

The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 16, in their first week by since their bye week. It’s a big game for the Chiefs, especially since they headed into their bye week with a stinging loss against the Buffalo Bills with a 28-21 final score. It never feels good to lose a game, but what made it worse is that the Chiefs lost to their longtime rivals in the Bills and quarterback Josh Allen. Taylor Swift wasn’t at that game, so maybe she’s the lucky charm that Travis Kelce and the crew need by their sides.

But, that’s all in the past, and now, the Chiefs are facing the Broncos, who are worthy contenders. Denver has an 8-2 record head of the game, and the Kansas City Chiefs are 5-4. Denver also has the No. 1 red zone defense and come in at third in points allowed in the NFL at 17.3 per game. They’ve also allowed the third-fewest yards in the league, according to NFL research.

So, as strange as it may sound, the Kansas City Chiefs are underdogs for this game, and they could use all the help they can get. Seeing Swift by their side would certainly help put a smile on Kelce’s face and perhaps the rest of the team, but will she be there?

Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs will be away against the Broncos and playing at Empower Field at Mile High. Since starting to date Kelce in 2023, Swift consistently showed up for home games, and this year, she’s been spotted at the team’s September 14 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, September 28 game against the Baltimore Ravens, October 12 game against the Detroit Lions, October 19 game against the Las Vegas Raiders and October 27 contest against the Washington Commanders.

But, those were all home games. So far, this season, Swift has been a no-show at all away games. So, it’s expected that Swift will also skip the Broncos game, since it’s on the road. Last season, her only away game was when the Chiefs went up against the Eagles in the championship game.

The reason Swift usually skips away games is because of security reasons. The crew at Arrowhead Stadium is accustomed to having her there and keeping her safe, but the same isn’t true for other stadiums. So, don’t hold your breath to see Swift today.

Travis Kelce Talks Loss to Buffalo Bills

So, Swift didn’t attend the Chiefs’ game against the Bills on the road, and Kansas City sadly lost that game. Following the game, during the Chiefs’ NFL bye week, Kelce talked about the loss on his podcast, “New Heights,” and said that “going up against Buffalo is not an easy thing.”

Kelce also said that the Bills’ stadium was “rocking” and “electric,” and even though the crowd was against him, Kelce said that he loved every minute of it and that he cherishes “every game that I get an opportunity to go up there.”

Now, he’ll have to take that positive attitude to Mile High against the Broncos. He’ll likely have to do it without Swift in the stands, too.
