Thomas Tuchel will not select Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden in the same England team heading into next summer’s World Cup.

The Three Lions have an abundance of attacking talent in the squad but face the age-old problem of how to sufficiently utilise them with Tuchel hoping to crack the code in time for next year’s tournament in the USA.

Bellingham and Foden returned to the squad last week for final games against Serbia and Albania with qualification already in the bag.

Foden has struggles desperately for form in an England shirt while Bellingham’s role has also come into question under the German head coach.

Captain Kane remains England’s undisputed leading man up front but the make-up up of the rest of the attacking unit is uncertain with Cole Palmer still struggling with a groin problem.

Morgan Gibbs-White and Morgan Rogers are also in the frame with Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon also vying for a role.

But Tuchel has stressed three of the country’s most high profile stars will not line up together, warning there are difficult decisions ahead before naming his final squad next year.

‘At the moment, if we keep the structure, they cannot play,’ said Tuchel to talkSPORT.

‘They can but not in the structure, not for the balance that we developed and not for structure that comes also with wingers who are specialists in their positions. We play at the moment with a six, eight, a 10 and a nine.

‘Especially in the number 10 position if you think about Phil who could play there, if you think about Jude, you think about Morgan Rogers, who played fantastic for us in this position.

‘You have Cole Palmer, you have Morgan Gibbs-White, so there’s a lot, a lot of players, and there’s the chance that we will not take everyone.

‘‘This is not because we don’t like it, not because they don’t individually deserve it, but because we will always do what’s best for the team. We will always do what’s best for winning.

‘We will always do what’s best for balance and we will try to keep the clarity, even if means that we have to take tough decisions.

‘We take tough decisions in any camp, and this will not change when we go to a tournament.’
