On Sunday, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Charlotte Hornets at the Target Center.
The Timberwolves are coming off a 115-103 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Anthony Edwards finished the game with eight points, two rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 3/15 from the field and 0/7 from three-point range in 26 minutes of playing time.

For Sunday’s game, the Timberwolves have announced that Edwards will be listed as questionable on the injury report.
Dane Moore of The Dane Moore NBA Podcast wrote: “Anthony Edwards is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Charlotte.
Edwards missed Thursday’s game with an illness after previously returning from an absence due to knee inflammation. Then he came back and played on Friday, recovered enough from the illness to play. But now, for Sunday’s game, Edwards injury designation is again the knee inflammation.”

Edwards is in the middle of his sixth NBA season (all with Minnesota).
The All-Star guard is averaging 28.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field and 39.8% from three-point range in 60 games.

The Timberwolves are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 46-31 record in 77 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and 5-5 over their last ten games).
At home, the Timberwolves have gone 25-14 in 39 games at the Target Center.

Following their matchup with the Hornets, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Tuesday when they visit the Pacers in Indiana.
The Timberwolves are coming off a season where they made the Western Conference finals for the second straight year.

The Hornets have been one of the best stories in the NBA during the 2025-26 season.
They are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-36 record in 78 games.
Over their last ten games, the Hornets have gone 8-2 (and they are in the middle of a three-game winning streak).
Following the Timberwolves, they will play their next game on Tuesday when they visit Jaylen Brown and the Celtics in Boston.
