Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson to bolster their attacking options, according to reports.
Roberto Do Zerbi’s side have been very active in the summer transfer window as they look to avoid a repeat of last season’s disastrous campaign.
Spurs have already broken their transfer record twice to sign two key midfielders, with Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali arriving from West Ham and Newcastle United for a combined £185million.
Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke arrived for £52m, while Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Martin Dubravka were all brought in on free transfers to add much-needed depth to their backline.

But despite those additions, De Zerbi says the north London club are still targeting ‘two or three’ further signings to prepare themselves for the new season.
Attacking reinforcements now appear to be the clear target for Tottenham, especially after De Zerbi indicated that Richarlison faces an uncertain future at the club.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, with reports suggesting they have already approached the Dutchman’s representatives about a potential deal.
And The Sun reports that Spurs have also been offered the chance to pursue a deal for Chelsea striker Jackson after they were approached by intermediaries.
Jackson faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge after returning from his largely unsuccessful loan spell at Bayern Munich last season.
The Senegalese striker scored 24 league goals in his first two seasons with the Blues, but faces stiff competition for minutes, especially after the arrivals of Emmanuel Emegha and Danny Welbeck this summer.
Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £65m asking price on Jackson, with any move to Tottenham still said to be at an ‘early exploratory stage’.
Aston Villa are also said to be interested in a move for Jackson, with Unai Emery keen to work with the striker again after their success together at Villarreal.
Elsewhere, the report suggests that former Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has been offered to Spurs via the player’s representatives.
Balogun came through the academy at Arsenal and made two Premier League appearances for the Gunners before leaving for Monaco in a £34m move in 2023.
The United States striker, who scored three goals at this summer’s World Cup, has scored 31 times in 91 appearances for the French club.
