Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Take a Daring Next Step in Relationship

Kansas City Chiefs future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce and global pop superstar Taylor Swift have been dating at least since September of 2023, and possibly even a few months before that. But as their romantic relationship moves into its third year, it now appears they are ready to take things to another level.

Until this point, while the couple have been frequently sighted together in public — and in June Swift was Kelce’s “plus one” at a wedding, usually a sign that a relationship has reached the “serious” stage — they have yet to take the step that could determine their true compatibility over a long-term relationship, such as marriage.

They have not yet moved in together.

Swift, Kelce Briefly Cohabitated in South Florida

Apparently, according to a report by the Palm Beach Post newspaper, the couple did briefly cohabitate in a Boca Raton, Florida, mansion that Kelce rented staring in April as he trained and prepared for the 2025 NFL season.

Kelce’s monthly rent on the $20 million mansion, according to Post reports, came in at $90,500 per month.

The sports-music mega-couple were spotted in the area at least three times, according to the paper: at a famous Boca Raton steak house called The Meat Market; at the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club; and also at Harry’s Bar and Restaurant in West Palm Beach.

Kelce’s Hometown Looks Like Next Destination

But their time together in the lavish Boca home could not have amounted to more than a few weeks, or a couple of months at most.

Now, however, they may be looking at a more committed cohabitation relationship — in Kelce’s hometown. Or very near to it anyway. Kelce was raised in a middle-class suburb about six miles east of downtown Cleveland, Ohio, named Cleveland Heights.

The couple in June were seen shopping for homes near there, according to a report by the local magazine Cleveland Scene.

“Multiple sources have confirmed to Scene that Swift and Kelce visited at least two opulent homes currently for sale in Northeast Ohio’s tony eastside suburbs,” Cleveland Scene editor-in-chief Vince Grzegorek reported on Tuesday. “The kind of places where wealth is abundant and babies are born with fully funded 529 accounts just in case they don’t get a lacrosse scholarship or decide to forego higher education altogether to pursue dressage full time.”

Swift Already Owns Multiple Lavish, Luxury Homes

It certainly should not come as a shock that Kelce and Swift would be eyeing “opulent” homes in neighborhoods where “wealth is abundant.” Swift, according to the financial publication Forbes, is a billionaire well on her way to becoming a multi-billionaire.

The magazine lists her personal net worth at $1.6 billion.

As of January, the pop icon who grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, already commands a residential real estate empire worth $80 million, according to the New York Post.

Her holdings include an ocean-view mansion in Westerly, Rhode Island; adjoining penthouses in New York City’s upscale TriBeCa enclave; a $1.9 million luxury condo on Nashville’s Music Row; a compound of multiple mansions in Nashville with the name Northumberland Estate; and a palatial, 10,982 square-foot Beverly Hills château that Swift bought for $25 million a decade ago.

Kelce is by far the poorer member of the couple, with an estimated net worth coming in at a mere $90 million, mostly from his football earnings — though with his brother Jason he signed a $100 million podcasting contract with Amazon in 2024.
