Travis Kelce Makes a ‘Surprising’ Confession About Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is offering fans a closer look at his year in music, and unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift played a major role. During the Wednesday, Dec. 10 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights,” the Kansas City Chiefs star revealed that Swift’s latest album came in at the top of his Spotify Wrapped list. Here’s what he shared and how Swift continues to open up about their relationship.

Travis Kelce Says Taylor Swift’s Album Was His No. 1 on Spotify Wrapped

While Jason shared his Spotify Wrapped results, listeners got a standout moment when Travis discussed his top album of the year. After Jason revealed his most-played album was a doo-wop record, he asked Travis if he recognized his second-place pick.

“Tay Tay’s?” Travis asked. Jason replied, “You know it!”

“That was no. 1 for me,” Travis added, prompting Jason to joke, “Damn it! You beat me.”

Swift released “The Life of a Showgirl” in October after announcing the album during a record-breaking episode of “New Heights.” The project includes several songs inspired by their relationship, including “The Fate of Ophelia.”

The couple began dating in summer 2023 and announced their engagement on Aug. 26. Travis and Jason previously revealed their favorite tracks. On the October 8 episode of “New Heights,” Travis said he loved “Opalite,” explaining:

“I’m a sucker for any type of … trying to think of the right way to describe it, but, like, you’re down in the dumps. Everything is kinda, you know, not going right. You’re uneasy in the world. Onyx skies turn into opalite. (Expletive), we’re back in it, baby. And, like, I’m all about it.”

Jason added that Kylie Kelce’s favorite song was “Wi$h Li$t.” “She was like, ‘No, you have to listen to that one again. That one’s (expletive) really awesome.’ She’s not a materialistic person. She’s never been,” he said.

Swift later told BBC Radio 1 that she knew Kelce would connect with the music. “He’s a real vibes guy,” she said.

Taylor Swift Opens Up About Their Engagement & Calls Kelce ‘The Love of My Life’

Swift also spoke about their relationship during her Dec. 10 appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” calling Kelce “the love of my life” while reflecting on major milestones.

“Getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back. Those were two things that just might never have happened,” she said. “Both of those things could have just never arrived in my life, and I’m so grateful for both of those things happening.”

Swift has publicly praised Kelce multiple times. At the 2024 MTV VMAs, she said, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.” After the Chiefs won the AFC championship in early 2025, she told him on the field, “I love you. I’m so proud of you.”

During her own on “New Heights,” she called him a “vibe booster” and said he was “so loyal.”

Swift appeared in a burgundy velvet David Koma mini dress on the Dec. 10 late-night show as she also promoted her new Disney+ docuseries, “The End of an Era.” The six-part project follows the development and impact of The Eras Tour. The first two episodes premiere Friday, Dec. 12.
