Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira will face off in a light heavyweight title clash at UFC 320. It takes place tonight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ankalaev enters the main event aiming to silence his critics and earn a more decisive victory over Pereira. UFC 320 marks his first light heavyweight title defense after earning a unanimous decision over ‘Poatan’ at UFC 313.

Pereira has had a meteoric rise to superstardom since joining the UFC. He is a former two-division UFC champion and successfully defended the light heavyweight championship three times before his loss to Ankalaev.

‘Poatan’ aims to regain the title from Ankalaev after admitting he was at his best in their first encounter. Pereira will need to display improvements in his grappling, especially after having difficulty against the fence at UFC 313.

Both fighters were more vocal during the pre-fight press conference, which has raised the interest level in their rematch.

 

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Ankalaev enters as the -250 favorite. A $20 wager on the champion to retain his title would yield a total payout of $28.

Pereira, the former champion, is listed as a +198 underdog. If he regains the title, a $20 wager would yield $58.50.

The total rounds line is currently set at 4.5 total rounds. The fight ending under 4.5 rounds is listed at -122. For those betting on a five-round main event, the over 4.5 rounds line is listed at -106.

The co-main event will see Merab Dvalishvili defend his bantamweight title against Cory Sandhagen. Despite competing for the third time this year, Dvalishvili is listed as a sizeable -450 favorite. Meanwhile, Sandhagen is the heavy +350 favorite.
