Plenty of Scots have travelled to Germany over the last few weeks.

Scotland fans were in fine voice at the European Darts Tour

They sang the national anthem with passion during Gilding vs De Graaf

Some have gathered to support the national team in their Euro 2024 campaign, watching on inside stadiums and at fan parks.

While others are in Germany to take in some darts action in the European Tour in Leverkusen.

And during Andrew Gilding’s clash with Jeffrey de Graaf they made their presence known.

Fans began singing the national anthem, “Flower of Scotland”, rising to their feet to create an electric atmosphere.

The Scottish faithful will have to wait until later this evening to cheer on one of their own, with Peter Wright lining up against Ritchie Edhouse.

Around 100,000 Scots are believed to have travelled to Germany for the Euros.

And they have been well received, with VisitCologne tourism boss Dr Jürgen Amann praising the support shown.

He said of the travelling fans: “There should be an award for the most powerful vocal support at the Euros.”

Former Scotland player Graeme Souness said of the support: “We get everywhere!”

And his countryman Jim White added: “We get everywhere but will we get any further after this weekend and the match with Hungary – that’s up for debate but the Scots are here in big numbers and we are delighted about that.”
