The Blues were the underdogs against the reigning Champions League winners, but produced a remarkable display to stun Luis Enrique’s side.
Cole Palmer stole the show with two brilliant solo efforts before setting up Joao Pedro to score his third goal in just his second game since signing for the club midway through the tournament.

For landing the Club World Cup trophy, Chelsea will get to wear a special gold badge on their shirts for the next four years.
The badge is there to recognise the achievement of the winning team until the next edition of the Club World Cup takes place in 2029.
The Blues also receives the FIFA Club World Cup trophy, of course, as well as a FIFA World Champions certificate.
How much prize money will Chelsea receive?
A total of £774m ($1b) in prize money has been split across the 32 participating teams, and Chelsea will earn a large amount of that after their run to the final.

And after they won in Sunday’s final, the Blues earned themselves an additional $10m in prize money.
Do Chelsea automatically qualify for the next Club World Cup?
Despite winning the inaugural 32-team version of the Club World Cup, Chelsea are not automatically guaranteed a spot when the tournament returns in 2029.
Automatic spots into the next tournament are only given to those who their respective continental title (e.g. UEFA Champions League, CONMEBOL Libertadores, etc).
However, other spots can be earned by having a high coefficient ranking, and Chelsea’s Club World Cup victory should give them a massive boost in that regard.
Will Chelsea have a trophy parade if they win the Club World Cup?
Chelsea will reportedly not have a trophy parade if they win this evening.
With the tournament taking up the first half of the summer, the players are in need of a break before their Premier League campaign gets underway against Crystal Palace on August 17.
Chelsea’s squad are due to report back at the club on August 4, with their first pre-season friendly taking place against Bayer Leverkusen at Stamford Bridge on August 8.
