MAGA-aligned U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is being criticized for delivering his pro-Trump, pro-Iran war message at CPAC this weekend. Cruz said: “Today we have a greater chance, that the next six months, to see new governments in Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran than at any point in our lifetimes. America and the world are safer when our President is strong and our enemies fear him.”
Conservative political pundit Ann Coulter, a one-time Trump supporter who endorsed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the 2024 presidential election, replied to Cruz: “Not as likely as seeing a new government in the U.S. — and the world will be safer.”
Coulter added: “Watching Fox News assure viewers the Iran war is going SUPER well and Trump is a total stud is like watching the same network assure viewers that Dominion Voting Systems rigged the 2020 election and Trump was the winner.”

More than one X user replied to Coulter with comments including “For once I actually agree with the Left. We really do need regime chance at home.” Another said of Coulter, “man i used to hate this woman, now i’m fangirling over her.”
Retired professor at the U.S. Naval War College, Tom Nichols, a conservative critic of Trump, commented: “Woke Ann Coulter is something to behold.”
