A 28-year-old man was arrested and gun and “device” was recovered during a disturbance aboard a CTA bus in South Side Thursday night.
Officers responded to a call of a disturbance on a CTA bus in the 7900 block of South Jeffery Boulevard at 7:36 p.m. and arrested a man, 28, who matched the description from the call, police said.
He had a weapon on him and the CPD bomb squad recovered an “unknown device.”
No injuries were reported.
