Police are trying to find the person responsible for shooting a man to death early Tuesday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
Around 12:50 a.m., officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body laying in an alley in the 1800 block of South Ridgeway Avenue, Chicago police said.
The unidentified man was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
