Need a free pocket? Check out Apple’s silly solution for carrying your phone

Apple’s latest iPhone accessory, the iPhone Pocket, is designed to free your other pockets from carrying your device — and, as usual, with a splash of color and style.

iPhone Pocket, born out of a collaboration between ISSEY MIYAKE and Apple, will be available at select Apple Store locations beginning Friday, November 14 (Apple). 

The Pocket is a collaboration between renowned fashion house Issey Miyake and Apple and features a single three-dimensional knitted piece of cloth. It fits any size iPhone, accessory and then some.

Not only does the cloth create an additional pocket for an iPhone, but when stretched it allows the user to peek at their display without having to fully take the device out. The Pocket can be tied onto bags or worn directly.

Best of all the colors: The short strap is available in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black; and the long strap is available in sapphire, cinnamon, and black. iPhone Pocket in the short strap design retails at $149.95 and the long strap design at $229.95.

The iPhone Pocket is a special edition release and will be available at select Apple Stores and apple.com in France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the U.K. and the U.S.
