Jose Mourinho is eager to sign Antony from Manchester United with the Turkish giants reportedly closing in a move for the winger.
While incoming Premier League business is wrapped up January, players can still leave with the Turkish Super Lig one of the few destinations remaining with their transfer window open until 13 September.
Galatasaray have already taken advantage of this by signing Victor Osimhen on a sensational loan deal from Napoli after proposed moves to Chelsea and Saudi Arabia collapsed last week.
Reports in Turkey claim Galatasaray’s fierce rivals Fenerbahce want to respond with a marquee signing of their own.
Turkish outlet Fotomac report the club are eager to sign Antony with talks underway with United over a loan deal for the Brazilian winger.
The report even suggests a deal could be agreed as early as Wednesday night.
Antony, signed from Ajax for £85million in the summer of 2022, has managed just one minute of football this season and is fourth choice winger behind Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo.

The Brazil international has been determined to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford but Fenerbahce hopes the presence of former United boss Mourinho can help them land a late addition.
Antony, whose sole minute of action this season came off the bench against Brighton, endured a woeful second season at the club last term, contributing just one goal and one assist in the Premier League.
The report comes amid speculation Galatasaray have made an offer to sign Casemiro from United on a season-long loan.
The former Real Madrid midfielder endured a disastrous day at the office against Liverpool last Sunday, at fault for two first-half goals hauled off at half-time and replaced by 20-year-old Toby Collyer.
The 32-year-old has started United’s opening three games of the season but his place in the side will now be under threat following the arrival of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.
