THIS is the distressing moment a convicted killer smashed a glass into a girl’s face in a restaurant in Russia, leaving her unable to smile.
Footage shows victim Olga Shchigoreva speaking to a man at a restaurant before she is glassed in a jealous rage after reportedly rejecting him.

She had been invited out to the restaurant by a female friend that evening and they had then been joined by two men.
One of the men at the table gets up and confronts the attacker but he is left bloodied as well before the footage ends.
The attacker was later detained and identified as convicted killer Denis Pityul, 38.
The 38-year-old was jailed for 10 years after fatally attacking an acquaintance in a restaurant with a knife in 2011.
The incident happened in Belokurikha, a town in the Altai region of Russia.
Olga told local media: “There are numerous scars and wounds on the face. Scars will remain.
“All this will be polished and cut out, pulled together with steps.
“A long rehabilitation of one and a half years lies ahead.”
She also said it would not be possible to return her face to its previous appearance.
She said: “My facial muscles are damaged, it’s hard for me to smile, for example.
“I’m consulting with surgeons – there will be many procedures.
“Now I can’t go out on the street again, the scars need to heal, I can’t work.
“The restoration is estimated at 2 million rubles. I’ll go to St. Petersburg. My face is not something I’m going to save on.”
Olga said she did not understand what had caused such a terrible act by the man and why he was allowed to walk free for two weeks after the attack
She told local media: “After he hit me, I wrote a statement.
“Only when the video was posted, did the department call me and say that a criminal case had been opened.
“It’s just ridiculous! After 10 days! And what did they do before that?! They didn’t even take him into custody.
“He went to cafes, and restaurants, relaxed, and I was tense the whole time.”
She also alleged that Pityul had threatened her, saying: “Through mutual acquaintances, knowing that his threats would reach me, he told me to walk around and be afraid.
“Of course, I didn’t hide in the house. But I was always tense that he would do something to me.
“If he did this to me in public, what would stop him from lying in wait outside the house?
“And I have a small child! Now I feel better – he was taken into custody.”
