Three children were among four people hospitalized after a crash early Monday morning in West Englewood on the South Side.
Around 6:20 a.m., a 26-year-old woman driving a black Jeep was attempting to turn in the 2100 block of West 59th Street when she collided with a Volkswagen SUV, Chicago police said.
Two boys, 4 and 10, and an 8-year-old girl were in the Jeep and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital with unspecified injuries, police said. Their conditions weren’t immediately known.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center with unspecified injuries, officials said.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 63-year-old man, refused treatment at the scene, authorities said.
No other information was immediately available.
