The public schoolgirl – a former communications managed with the Olive Pathway domestic abuse charity – had waged a nightmare ordeal against her ex.

She received a suspended sentence last year following a horrific attack on the tree surgeon.

Despite this, the raging thug went to a friend’s house where Sam was staying yelling out his name.

She then knocked the door of its hinges before slashing at her ex with a kitchen knife.

Sam managed to flee to a neighbour’s home and call the police, who found her asleep on the sofa in a drunken stupor.

Rudd has now been jailed for three years and slapped with a new restraining order banning her from contacting her ex for life.

In a victim impact statement, Sam bravely told the court: “I became used to being assaulted by her which I knew wasn’t right but I was aware she had mental health issues.

“She is dangerous to be around and this latest incident is clear evidence of that.

“It doesn’t matter if she has a non-molestation order or a restraining order to protect me. She will always find a way back to me and that me me feel unsafe.

“Although a number of months have passed since this latest incident, it has affected my mental health and I am constantly on edge for when she is eventually released. I am constantly looking over my shoulder.

“I do not wish to see Miss Rudd ever again but I will never know if this is the last time she will contact me.”

Manchester Crown Court heard how Rudd was previously been given 34 weeks in jail suspended for 18 months after she verbally abused Sam in a pub before punching him.

He tried to break of contact with his stalker ex but she bombarded him with 300 texts begging for forgiveness.

In September 2022, she was given a community order after mauling a police officer when she refused to leave a property.

Brendan O’Leary, defending, told the court Rudd has mental issues dating back to a childhood trauma.

Sentencing, the judge told her that she was “a highly intelligent woman but with a very troubled history”.
