The woman was crossing the street near the 5100 block of East 64th Avenue on Friday night when she was struck by the juvenile driver, police officials said in a post on Facebook. She was not in a crosswalk at the time.

The boy, who was driving with a learner’s permit, left the scene but later returned with his parents.

The case is still under investigation, Commerce City police said Thursday.
