DARTS fans took to social media to share their concerns and defend Callan Rydz following his stunning defeat to Florian Hempel.
Rydz was on the wrong end of an epic comeback against the German, who stormed from 5-2 down to win their Hungarian Darts Trophy clash 6-5.

Hempel was the picture of ecstasy after the final dart, punching the air in delight as he celebrated a truly stunning comeback.
Rydz, however, cut a dejected figure – biting his shirt as he left the oche before angrily punching his darts container.
Vile trolls mocked the Newcastle man for his outburst after the defeat, which one of the match commentators claimed would’ve left him “absolutely devastated”.
Although several supporters of the 26-year-old leapt to his defence.
One wrote on X: “Feel bad for Callum Rydz.”
Another said: “So many horrible negative comments about Callan Rydz.
“He’s a young man obviously struggling with the mental side of darts and maybe needs a bit of help.”
One remarked: “[He] definitely needs a break.”
Another chimed in: “Don’t hate on Rydz. Hope he recovers strong.”

Rydz was left deeply upset last May after his first-round exit at the Czech Open and shared a deeply worrying message on social media.
He wrote: “I’m sorry for playing s**t. You think I want to go up and play like that all the time?
“I’m struggling f***ing mentally and physically. I don’t know what to do anymore.
“Am sorry (to) everyone who even watched that.
“But telling me to f* off, call me a c**t, and all that because I lost.
“I’m trying to make a living off this game, so I can retire (as) quick as I f***ing can. Again, I am sorry.”
The PDC reached out to Rydz to check on his mental state and revealed to SunSport that were willing to offer him counselling should he require it.
