The Voice UK coaches have been left shocked after emotional scenes played out on stage.

On the upcoming episode, to air tomorrow night, host Emma Willis and coaches Tom Jones, LeAnn Rimes, Will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones witness a ‘show first’.

In a clip shared by the ITV series on social media, the stars of the show are taken aback by the moment, which some have speculated could be a proposal.

It shows a woman standing next to Emma smiling, while another woman on stage wipes tears off her face while looking down.

As coach Will.i.am sits in his chair with his jaw wide open, Emma exclaims: ‘Oh look! Everyone’s up on their feet.’

With the studio audience cheering and clapping, LeAnn stands to do the same.

Meanwhile Tom declares ‘what just happens’ as he also becomes emotional.

‘I’m a mess. I’m crying,’ he shares.

Explaining that ‘this has NEVER happened before on The Voice’, the post was captioned: ‘This Saturday we have a first on The Voice! What do you think it could be!?! Tune in tomorrow at 8.30pm on ITV1 ITVX and STV to find out 🧐 #TheVoiceUK.’

Many speculated the moment captured would show someone getting down on one knee.

‘A proposal?’ epanayiotou1 commented.

My guess is also a proposal, because they’re all happy and teary eyed!’ brummie_gurl_jo shared.

Another simply posted an emoji of a diamond ring.

This season of the reality singing show will also feature another first, with Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am to also be joined by an AI co-host named Fyilicia.

Each season the coaches turn to a celebrity guest to help mentor their contestants during the show, however Will is set to turn to the technology.

Speaking at the 2024 EDTV Festival last month, he explained: ‘How many people understand the business of music? I felt that way too. That’s why we get attorneys and managers to help us navigate contracts, business terms, and finance. That’s all going to change and my mentor, Fyilicia, is the representation of that advancement.

‘It’s an AI I converse with Felicia pretty much every day. “Hey, help me out with this lyric. Hey, I got this contract. Help me, like, figure it out.” And that’s the power of this new technology.’

The Voice UK continues Saturday at 8.30pm on ITV1.
