It may not be the biggest or most passionate London derby but Fulham v Brentford is not to be missed.

The duel on the banks of the river Thames will create plenty of fireworks on the eve of Bonfire Night with two evenly matched teams going head to head.

The Bees have 13 points from their first eight Premier League games which is one more than the Cottagers.

The difference between the two clubs is that Fulham have scored seven and conceded six in four home games compared to Brentford’s record of three goals on their travels while shipping in nine.

Thomas Frank’s side are always entertaining but have yet to gain any rewards on the road, losing all four of their matches away from the Gtech Community Stadium.

To be fair, it has been a tough start on their travels with trips to Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Fulham are a step below that level having won two and drawn one of their four matches at home but the two victories were against Leicester and Newcastle, who are roughly comparable with the Monday Night Football visitors.

Both teams should score so that’s half of our bet solved now we have to figure out who will win.

The Cottagers are 21/20 with William Hill and Betfair to win outright and 13/5 with the latter to take the points with both teams scoring.

A 2-1 home win is 17/2 with bet365, Raul Jimenez is 13/2 with Unibet to break the deadlock and 43/20 to score at any time while the same firm offer 5/2 for the Bees’ Bryan Mbeumo to hit the net at at any time.

• Kansas City are the only NFL team with an unbeaten record and can beat the 4-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers by more than 4.5 points at 19/20 with 888Sports to take their record to 8-0 in their Monday Night Football combat.

• Bockos Diamond, trained by former Portsmouth and Hove handler Graham Holland, set a track record 28.94 seconds over 503 metres to reach the Irish Greyhound Derby quarter-finals at Shelbourne Park and is still worth backing despite being cut from 3/1 to 13/8 with bet365. Poetry in motion.
