British rapper Yung Filly has been charged with reckless driving in Perth, Australia, just weeks after his sexual assault hearing.

The 29-year-old YouTuber, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was arrested in Brisbane in early October after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s  in his Perth hotel on September 28 after a nightclub performance.

In an initial October hearing, he was charged with four counts of rape, three counts of assault and one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck.

He was granted conditional bail and told to stay in Western Australia, ordered to report to the police daily and post a personal $100,000 (£51,438.05) cash surety.

Now Barrientos has been charged with reckless driving after allegedly being picked up for speed driving at 158kph on a Perth highway in November by a speed camera.

The incident reportedly occurred on November 17 on Roe Highway in High Wycombe near the Kalamunda Road interchange where the limit is 100kph, per the Mirror.

The car has allegedly been impounded as he awaits a hearing for the charge next Thursday, December 19, the same day he will appear on the assault and choking charges.

He has not issued any statement addressing this latest incident.

Other conditions for the rapper’s bail included a ban on contacting the alleged victim and posting about the case on social media to his millions of followers.

The music artist has 3.1million followers on Instagram and 1.83million followers on YouTube.

After the October hearing, Barrientos’ podcast collaborator Chunkz, real name Amin Mohamed, spoke out about why he wasn’t discussing the charges.

He wrote on his Instagram story at the time: ‘Yes my peoples. Like everyone, I’ve heard reports coming out of Australia.

‘Whilst I understand many of you want my reaction on it, as this is an ongoing court case I hope you guys will understand that I can’t and won’t be commenting on it publicly.

‘I’ve basically just come on here to let you know the reasons why I can’t.’

Aside from his popular podcast, Barrientos rose to prominence after starting his YouTube channel in 2013, before launching his music career in 2017 with songs like Take Time and Grey.

He was also a regular on UK TV, featuring in shows such as BBC Three’s Hot Property and Don’t Scream.

He has also guest-starred in The Great British Bake Off and Would I Lie To You. As well as working with shoe company Footasylum on the YouTube series, Does The Shoe Fit?

The company has since suspended the contract.

His footballer cooking show was also reportedly pulled by the FA shortly after his arrest, Metro understands.

Metro has reached out to Barrientos’ representative for comment.
