Kanye West has spoken out to defend his wife, Bianca Censori, following the immediate backlash to her risqué Grammys outfit that saw her bare all.

Kanye, 47, and Bianca, 30, are known for making outlandish fashion statements, with the rapper’s wife frequently appearing in sheer or extremely revealing looks while out with her husband.

The pair took things to a new level on Sunday night at the Grammy Awards as Bianca wore a tiny, completely see-through dress that showed her entire naked body.

Fans were utterly shocked by this look, with claims that the rapper was humiliating his wife and lip-readers watching the artist tell his wife she was ‘making a scene’ on the red carpet.

In response to the negative attention faced by his wife about this look, the artist also known as Ye has taken to X to defend her.

‘My wife’s first red carpet opened a whole new world. I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night Thinking wow I am so lucky to have a wife that is so smart talented brave and hot,’ he began.

‘She took a break from shooting her first film to make a movie in real life We Tailored that invisible dress 6 times And just like magic poof we disappeared.’

He then thanked the outlets that appreciated the look, specifically calling on American Vogue which he said recognised ‘rightful strength.’

‘Thank you to all the outlets who recognized us and gave us back the energy we put in.

‘But I have to give a shout-out to the American Vogue team for writing an article that places my wife in a strong positive light and also recognizes rightful strength.’

He then concluded with a strong message to his haters: ‘People asked how would your mother feel. You don’t know my mama b***h.’

An opinion article from Raven Smith published by American Vogue dissected the look and the ‘ickiness’ about not knowing anything about Bianca apart from what she looks like nude.

‘While I’m not necessarily advocating for snatch on the red carpet, it could also be argued that it’s Bianca’s body, and therefore Bianca’s choice. I hate to state the obvious, but a woman can wear whatever she wants,’ read part of the piece.

They added: ‘I don’t think we should assume that because Bianca’s pretty much naked, she’s not fully in control of herself, or that she’s not thoroughly enjoying her exhibitionism.’

Following the appearance on the red carpet, Ye took to X to share images of his wife’s nude body at the event.

‘Posting just to flex at this point,’ read the caption of one zoomed-in image of his wife’s torso, showing her breasts and crotch.

He also revealed that his clothing line Yeezy was selling a sheer black bodysuit, for any customers who wanted to replicate this nude style.
