Two British skiers got an expletive-laden telling off on their way down a slope in the French alps.

Daniel Keating and Tom Earing, both 19, admit they had been ‘messing around’ before falling over on a medium difficulty red slop in Val d’Isère.

One of their group may have even veered close to someone on the way down.

But as they gathered themselves, they didn’t expect two other skiers – one of them, a woman, a fellow Brit – to ski by and berate them.

In viral bodycam footage from January 15, the unidentified woman said: ‘You’re totally s**t skiers. You went by, out of control, s**t posture, toilet seat. F***ing dangerous for other people.

‘If you want to go to hospital, be my guest, but you cannot ski around like that.’

Before skiing off down the slope, she said: ‘I’m not surprised you fell over because you’re f****ing s**t. You should take some ski lessons.’

The teenagers seemed unfazed by the encounter, with one of them bidding her farewell: ‘On your bike, see you in a bit’.

But they insist their technique ‘isn’t sh*t’.

Speaking afterwards, Daniel, from Sevenoaks in Kent, said: ‘We’ve laughed so much at it. She’s just given us a viral video for nothing.

‘When we got to the end of the slope and were messing around jumping on our skis and one of us got slightly too close to someone and was going quite fast but not dangerously.

‘She came over and started shouting at us and I was so confused because her reaction was like we’d killed someone.

‘Some people in the comments said we looked like right d**kheads but I didn’t really care.

‘I didn’t say anything because I didn’t know what was going on, I was trying to process it.

‘I wouldn’t describe my skiing as sh*t and the toilet seat comment was hilarious. It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.

‘She’d been preparing what she was going to say I think. It was like a movie.

‘She was very full of herself and thought she was a great skier but she clearly wasn’t very good herself.

‘I don’t wish I’d said anything else because we just let her do all the talking because she made a fool of herself on her own.’

Not everyone agrees, however. Among the 3,700 comments on the video, which has been viewed 2.7million times, one person said: ‘She made you look a right mug.’

Although some think ‘You’re a sh*t skier has to be the most posh insult I’ve ever heard’, and the language may be unacceptable, many think she was in the right.

One person said: ‘I suspect she’s right that you were skiing dangerously but could have been delivered in a better way!’
