A climate activist was arrested at Trump Tower after spray painting President Donald Trump’s insignia inside his New York City building.
The man was captured on video spraying ‘USA’ in green paint over the insignia that included ’45’ and ‘President of the Untied States Donald J Trump’ around noon on Wednesday.
He committed the act of vandalism as someone could be heard saying in the background, ‘f***ing piece of s*** bro.’
The man then got down to his knees on the floor in front of the insignia and held up a banner with the symbol of his organization, Extinction Rebellion, and the words ‘game over’.

He was quickly surrounded by security officers and handcuffed.
While being escorted away, the man said loudly: ‘This is your country. This is our country. This is our planet. You cannot ruin it without comment. They are ruining the planet for profit.’
An individual was questioned after the incident that unfolded in an area of the building open to the public, according to the New York Police Department. There were no arrests in connection with the incident as of the afternoon.
Extinction Rebellion, a climate activist group, told PIX11 that the green paint was removable chalk.

The climate activist’s identity was not immediately known.
Extinction Rebellion was the same group that spray painted the Wall Street Charging Bull in Lower Manhattan the day prior and cleaned it up as police officers watched. Members then spray painted Tesla showroom windows in the Meatpacking District and two of them were busted.
Wednesday’s incident happened more than a month after more than 100 protesters stormed Trump Tower to take stand against the detention of a Columbia University graduate student and pro-Palestinian activist facing deportation.
Members of the Jewish Voice for Peace flooded the lobby of Trump’s building holding banners with messages like ‘Jews say do not comply’ and chanting ‘fight Nazis, not students’.
