Celebrity chef Bobby Flay has found love once again. The Food Network star recently confirmed his new romance with a Top Chef winner, turning a long-time friendship into a relationship. But what about his previous romances? Here’s Flay’s complete dating history, revealed.Â
Bobby Flay Has Tied the Knot Three Times
In June 1990, Flay met fellow chef Debra Ponzek. And after less than one year of dating, the couple tied the knot in May of 1991. Ponzek was an elite chef, just like Flay. And they were both nominated in 1992 for the James Beard Foundation Award for Rising Star Chef.
Flay didn’t want to compete against his wife for the award, so he tried to withdraw from the competition. However, the organization denied his request. Ponzek won, and Flay won it the following year, in 1993. She even presented him with the prize. But later that year, they divorced.Â
In 1995, two years after his split from Ponzek, Flay married TV host Kate Connelly. A year later, the couple welcomed their daughter Sophie. But by 1998, Flay and Connelly were separated and headed for divorce.
Flay would wait a few years before walking down the aisle a third time.
The Food Network Star Was Married to a ‘Law & Order’ Star For 10 Years
In 2001, Flay met “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star Stephanie March. They dated for four years before tying the knot in February of 2005. Flay and March were married for 10 years until their split in 2015 amid reports that he was unfaithful, which he denied. Their divorce was finalized in July 2015.
âWe have come to an amicable divorce settlement,â the pair said in a statement to Us at the time. âWe look forward to putting this difficult time behind us and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward.â
Flay began dating actress Heléne Yorke shortly after his split with March. Their romance lasted three years, and she ran a foodie Instagram page inspired by the couple’s cooking adventures. They split in 2019.
In November 2021, mutual friends introduced Flay to writer Christina Perez. They dated for two and a half years before breaking up in June 2024.
Bobby Flay Didn’t Have Instant Chemistry With New Love Brooke Williamson
In March 2025, Flay confirmed a new romance with Food Network’s Brooke Williamson. She was the winner of Top Chef season 14 and his co-star on Bobby’s Triple Threat. Their chemistry wasn’t instant, though. Williamson split from her ex-husband Nick Roberts two years ago, and their divorce was finalized in 2024.Â
Flay and Williamson were just friends for years. But their dynamic suddenly changed after she split from Roberts.
“They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in,” a source told PEOPLE. “Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences and over the last few weeks, love bloomed.”
