Two injured at school after pupil ‘seen wandering around brandishing huge knife’

Two people have been injured after a schoolboy was reportedly seen brandishing a large kitchen knife on school grounds.
The teenager was detained by police soon after they were called to Manshead Church of England Academy in Caddington, near Luton, Bedfordshire.
The two victims were taken to hospital wish minor injuries.
It has not yet been confirmed whether they were staff or pupils.
Footage obtained by The Sun appeared to show a boy strolling past a classroom wielding a knife while other pupils looked on.

He appeared to be walking in an outdoor area of the school grounds and was followed by an adult woman walking a short distance behind him.
A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police said: ‘We understand that this may be concerning. However, we want to reassure the public that there is no wider threat to the community.
‘We’d also like to praise the school for their swift response.’
