A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Sunday in River North.
Officers responded to a person shot around 12:40 a.m. in the 300 block of West Ontario Street and found a 39-year-old man shot multiple times in the body, Chicago police said.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
