Nickelodeon alum Amanda Bynes showed off her new ink in a rare candid TikTok video from May 18.
In the quick video, Bynes explained she recently got a finger tattoo to commemorate her longtime friend.
“My best friend Dylan and I have been best friends for 10 years,” Bynes began in the video. “And to mark our best friend anniversary, we got matching Roman numeral Xs for the number 10.”
She explained that while she received the new ink on her finger, her friend chose to get it on her rib cage.
While the short video focused on her discussing the tattoo the “She’s the Man” actress also showed fans her hair transformation.
“I finally grew my bangs out,” she told viewers. “I’m so excited right now. Oh my god, I can’t believe it.”
She rocked dark eye makeup, long blonde hair and a nose piercing in the video. She also had her signature heart face tattoo on display.
Bynes concluded the post by wishing everyone well. “That is all,” she added. “Hope everyone is having a good night.”
Bynes Got Another Heartfelt Tattoo Earlier This Year
In January of this year, Bynes revealed a snake tattoo on her thigh. She took to TikTok as well to show it off to her fans.
Bynes panned down in the video revealing the new ink and then added a drawing of the ink she ultimately received.
She accompanied the post with a caption explaining the symbolism behind it.
“It’s the ‘transformation’ for me,” she wrote. “ðâs represent shedding the past, and embracing who youâre becoming. A daily reminder that I can heal, grow, and start anew.”
Bynes Is Using a Surprise Platform to Communicate With Her Fans
The 39-year-old revealed in April she plans to use OnlyFans as a way to communicate with her fans, according to People.
The actress made the revelation in an Instagram story post, but explained there will be no scandalous content on the platform. Instead she plans to chat with individuals through the direct message feature.
“I’m doing onlyfans to chat with my fans through dm’s,” Bynes said per People. “I won’t be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join.”
Though the former actress mainly stays out of the limelight these days, Bynes did have an art show in December 2024, according to E! News.
One attendee praised the star in a social media post. “I had the honor of attending [Amanda Bynes’] art show and getting to know her better this past weekend,” podcaster Irving Scott wrote. “Her story is truly inspiring.”
