A beautician who called a bouncer the N-word 25 times has blamed the racist tirade on the death of her mum.
Shannon Quinn, 28, hurled abuse and spat in Ethan Obom’s face when he denied her entry into the Banff nightclub in Southport last October.
The two knew each other from school, Liverpool Magistrates’ Court heard, and Quinn further threatened to smash the windows at Mr Obom’s home.
Later that night, the dad-of-one got a call from his fiancée saying their front bay window had been put through.
He said: ‘I am fearful that she will return to my girlfriend’s property. If I am not around, I do not know what she will do.
‘That night I immediately left work as I did not feel it was safe to leave my partner and child in the property on their own.’
Quinn pleaded guilty to making threats to damage property, assault and racially aggravated intentional harassment.
She was given a 12-month community order with requirements that she complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity and wears a sobriety tag for 120 days.

Her lawyer Alison Sharples told the court: ‘She has never accepted that she was the person who caused the damage to the window.
‘But she accepts that she made threats to cause criminal damage.’
The court heard Quinn blamed her behaviour on having to deal with the sudden deaths of mother Kelly, 39, nan Toni Heap, 58, and an unnamed close friend three years earlier in 2021.
Attempting to explain how bereavement made her behave in a racist manner, Ms Sharples said: ‘The complainant is known to her as they went to school together. But it is clear more went on than meets the eye.
‘She is a young woman who has a lot going on dealing with multiple mental health diagnoses. You can see what happened in relation to her mum.
‘It was absolutely horrific for her to have to deal with that as a young woman.
‘On the day in question she actually said in one of the messages to the complainant, “I was not myself”.

‘She accepts that she was drinking to excess and behaved in a manner that was completely unacceptable and wrong. She held her hands up and said, “I know I have done something wrong”.
‘This offence was borne out of having too much alcohol of the night and the stress of everything else she has been dealing with the last few years.’
Mum-of-one Quinn, who studied hair and beauty at Southport College, has a previous motoring conviction from 2022 for failing to provide a specimen of breath.
Sentencing her for her latest offending, Magistrate Linda Phillips said: ‘I suggest that you do not drink alcohol now.’
