She ended her post with heartfelt lyrics from her father’s track “Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel),” released on the 1993 album “River of Dreams.” The lyrics read, “Someday We’ll All Be Gone / But Lullabies Go On And On / They Never Die / That’s How You And I Will Be.” The inclusion of these lyrics makes the post even more heartfelt because it is well-known that Billy penned this track for his daughter.

In an Instagram post on May 22, the “Piano Man” singer informed fans of his diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH). “This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance,” the statement read. “Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.

Billy also thanked fans in his statement. “I’m sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience, and thank you for understanding,” he shared.
