Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell is showing off her dramatic weight loss in a new Instagram post.
The former moderator of “The View” and star of her self-named talk show posted the picture on May 23 showing a much slimmed-down figure. She’s wearing dark pants and a light green sweater and appears to be a standing on a stage talking into a microphone. In the caption, she writes, “i cant believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia“
Rosie O’Donnell Open About Using Weight Loss Drug
One of the hashtags in the post references the injectable weight loss drug Mounjaro that has been used by a number of celebrities to lose weight, including Meghan Trainor and Elon Musk.
In an earlier TikTok video, Rosie referenced losing weight since beginning the drug for her type two diabetes. But she also credited no longer employing a chef since moving from Los Angeles to Dublin, Ireland several months ago, saying she now does all the cooking.
In another TikTok video on March 11, 2025, she revealed to fans that she and her daughter Clay had moved to Ireland saying, âI moved here on January 15. Itâs been pretty wonderful, I have to say. The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming. And Iâm very grateful.â
O’Donnell says she’s in the process of getting her Irish citizenship, and in fact has Irish grandparents. In a recent video, she talked about having cousins who live in Northern Ireland.
Rosie O’Donnell Continues Standup Comedy Career in Ireland
The 63-year-old has continued her comedy career in her newfound home. According to her Instagram account, she has a number of shows coming up at International Bar on Wicklow Street in Dublin.
The comedian has said she’s had to go shopping in Dublin to get new clothes that âfit betterâ after her weight loss. But her new look is taking some time to get used to.
“I’m one of those people who always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large â instead of an XL or a XXL â I find it shocking,” she told her TikTok followers. “I really do. I find it completely shocking.”

O’Donnell’s new efforts to get healthy include drinking more water and staying away from sugar according to her posts on social media.
Saturday, May 24, she took her TikTok followers along on a grocery shopping trip to put together a “Tiffany plate,” which is a viral trend credited to Tiffany Magee, a healthy-eating influencer from Tampa, Florida.
Rosie’s “Tiffany plate” included an assortment of fruits and vegetables, low-fat cheese, hummus, chicken breast, sausage and hard-boiled eggs.
