2 shot, 1 critically, in Greater Grand Crossing

Police are looking for someone who shot two men, critically wounding one of them, inside a Greater Grand Crossing home Sunday morning.

A 35-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were inside a home in the 7500 block of South Calumet Avenue when a male whose age was unknown shot them about 6 a.m., according to police.

The 31-year-old man was shot once in the back and twice in the right leg, police said. He was in critical condition.

The older man was in good condition after being struck in the arm, police said. Both men were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center.

The shooter fled after the attack, heading east on 76th Street, police said.

Area 2 detectives are investigating.
