Chelsea are considering a move for West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

Enzo Maresca’s side are in the market for a new attacking option this summer having made the decision to send Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United for a £5 million penalty fee.

Chelsea have already made an approach to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, who has a release clause of €60m (£50.9m) after the German club secured their place in next season’s Champions League on the final day of the Bundesliga campaign last month.

However, MailOnline report that Chelsea are also interested in West Ham’s versatile midfielder Kudus.

The report claims that Kudus has an £85m release clause for Premier League sides which can be triggered in the first 10 days of July.
