A teen driver is facing charges after crashing into a 56-year-old man riding a scooter Tuesday night in Little Village.
The man, 56, was riding a scooter in the 2600 block of South Lawndale Avenue around 9:10 p.m. when he was hit by a white car turning north at the intersection, Chicago police said.
The man suffered trauma to his body and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was in fair condition, police said.
The driver of the white car, a 17-year-old boy, was arrested and citations were pending.
