Italian champions Napoli are interested in a deal for Chelsea ‘leader’ Trevoh Chalobah in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The Blues have slapped a £25m price tag on the 25-year-old centre-back, who recently earned his first call-up to the senior England squad.
Chelsea are said to be’ delighted’ with Chalobah’s performances and attitude since returning from his Crystal Palace loan spell in January.
But Chalobah is now attracting interest from Napoli with the Serie A winners weighing up a move for the talented Chelsea academy graduate.

The Telegraph report that Napoli manager Antonio Conte is ‘keen’ on Chalobah, with the the Italian head coach determined to build a squad capable of challenging both in the Champions League and domestically.
Chelsea are not ‘actively looking’ to sell Chalobah but they are unable to offer him a guarantee of first-team football next season.

Once Wesley Fofana recovers from injury, the Frenchman is set to return as Levi Colwill’s first-choice partner in the heart of Chelsea’s defence.
Chelsea would not stand in Trevoh Chalobah’s way
It is also thought that Chelsea are interested in signing a new central defender this summer, which may limit Chalobah’s minutes even more.
Chalobah’s future looks set to be decided on if he requires a guarantee of first-team football or not, with the defender aiming to cement himself in Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.

It’s believed that Chelsea would not stand in Chalobah’s way if he decided to join Napoli in a permanent deal.
Should he head to Naples, Chalobah would be reunited with his former Chelsea team-mate Billy Gilmour.
Chalobah may also be inspired by the success of fellow British player Scott McTominay, who has massively impressed since he joined Napoli from Manchester United, having being crowed Serie A MVP in his debut season.
Trevoh Chalobah hailed as a ‘leader’ by Chelsea teammate

Noni Madueke heaped praise on Chelsea teammate Chalobah earlier this year, singling out his leadership qualities.
Speaking after a 3-1 Premier League victory over Wolves, Madueke was quizzed about Chalobah and said: ‘Unbelievable. Leadership, character, bravery on the ball.
‘He slotted in seamlessly so I am delighted for him. It is no coincidence with players like him and Reece [James] back in we won the game.
‘They are Chelsea through and through and they helped us tonight with their leadership, for sure.’
Chalobah has played a total of 99 games for Chelsea to date and has been sent out on loan four times.
He was loaned to Ipswich Town in 2018-19, Huddersfield Town in 2019-20, Lorient in 2020-21 and Crystal Palace for half of the 2024-25 campaign.
