East Bay pets of the week for June 20

Hi, I’m Roxie! I’m a magnificent feline starlet ready to bring joy and sparkle into your home. I love being near my person, soaking up pets and chin scratches and chasing fun cat toys when the mood strikes. When the evening cools down, you’ll find me curled up beside you — ready for snuggles and a good TV binge. Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

This easy-going bull terrier mix loves to enjoy the simpler things. Soldier lives to make new friends, have his ears scratched just right and sniff the flowers on his daily walks. Soldier’s manners are top notch, and communication with him on walks and around the house is a breeze. This 9-year-old brindle boy is social and great with dogs of all sizes, having lived with a small dog most of his life. Since he’s used to sharing space, Soldier would be thrilled to have a friend in his new abode. This happy guy is looking for a family as invested in relaxing quality time as he is.
