Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper ’acted quickly’ to prevent a major accident after there was a farm machinery crash near Diddly Squat farm.

The 26-year-old, who has become a household name since rising to fame on Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime Video series, was pictured on the edge of the A3400 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, after a hedge cutter fell off the back of a trailer.

Hydraulic fluid could be seen slathered across the road, sending cars with slippery tyres skidding, after the tank cap to the cutter snapped.

Kaleb was believed to be on his way to a nearby bailing job last Friday at around 9am when the crash happened.

Following the incident, Kaleb was reportedly seen making phone calls from his Mitsubishi L200 truck as he tried to resolve the incident.

Swimming pool engineer Paul Lowe, 53, from nearby Abingdon, told The Sun: ‘I spotted him instantly and was a little bit starstruck as I’m a big fan of the show.

‘The hedge cutter was on the back of a trailer pulled by a 4×4. I think it came round the corner and flew off.

‘Hydraulic fluid was pumping out down the road and cars were skidding after driving through it. It was chaos and pretty dangerous.

‘Kaleb was parked on the corner speaking with the driver and looked a bit worried.

‘He probably had a lot of other jobs to get done and this only added to his hectic morning. It was just like watching the show live.’

The 53-year-old went on to add that Kaleb ‘acted quickly to avoid the spill causing a serious accident’ by calling a co-worker at his agricultural contracting business to help him lift the machine off the road.

While Thames Valley Police have not commented on the crash yet, they were reportedly contacted to make the road safe for other drivers.

Clarkson's farm star, Kaleb Cooper, has been spotted using a mobility scooter after sustaining a leg injury. Release date ? June 17, 2025. The Oxfordshire farmhand rose to global fame after appearing in the first series of Clarkson's Farm alongside Jeremy Clarkson in 2021. Documenting life at Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, the Prime Video show introduced audiences around the world to the 26-year-old. He has been a key member of the cast in the following seasons, including series four which was released across May and June this year. Mr Cooper was rushed to hospital earlier this week for an emergency X-ray after injuring himself. The farmer took to Instagram to show a new cast he has on his ankle, suggesting that he had twisted his ankle while closing a chicken coup. It?s not clear whether the contractor injured himself while at Jeremy Clarkson?s farm, Diddly Squat, or elsewhere.

This comes after it was revealed last week that Kaleb was spotted using a mobility scooter after suffering a ‘busted ankle’.

The Amazon Prime Video star, who helps run the former Top Gear star’s Diddly Squat farm, shared his injury ahead of the Royal Three Counties show in Worcestershire.

Speaking in a video on the event’s official Instagram account, he said: ‘‘I may be hobbling around because I’ve got a bit of a busted ankle, but it’ll be fine.

In another Instagram Story, he added: ‘Just got back from football and trying to haul my [butt] to shut the chickens up… look at that ankle.’

Kaleb, who has had an extremely busy schedule as of late, will be hoping to rest his ankle after Jeremy confirmed that Clarkson’s Farm is taking a ‘short break’ after its upcoming fifth series.

Metro has contacted Kaleb Cooper’s reps for comment.

Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
