Shortly after Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen started dating Hailee Steinfeld in May 2023, he bought an offseason home in Dana Point, California, about 60 miles south of Los Angeles.
Allen plunked down $7.2 million to purchase the 2,808-square-foot abode. The asking price was initially $7.5 million, so he managed to get a 4% discount. The Bills star’s summer home, located in the exclusive gated community of Monarch Bay, includes access to the private Monarch Bay Beach Club, owned by the Waldorf Astoria. The resort offers an oceanfront golf course, a major draw for the quarterback.
The single-story house, built in 1962, has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and sits on a quarter-acre lot. The family room features floor-to-ceiling glass windows open to the backyard, which features an outdoor dining area and an above-ground hot tub.
However, after tying the knot with Steinfeld in Santa Barbara, California, on May 31, and jetting off on their honeymoon, Allen is ready to part ways with his bachelor pad.

Realtor.com broke the news on Monday, July 7, that Allen listed his Dana Point home for sale at $8.5 million. “He is believed to have spent a considerable amount of time during the offseason at the abode, soaking up the warm weather after a traditionally frosty Buffalo winter,” Realtor.com’s Kelsi Karruli wrote.
“If [Allen and Steinfeld] are hoping to invest in property together, they may look elsewhere in California, specifically Malibu, which is where Allen popped the question to Steinfeld on Nov. 22, 2024.”
Steinfeld referred to Malibu as “my happy place” in an interview with Who What Wear in February, applauding how Allen pulled off surprise proposal. “I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’”
While Malibu will forever be a special place for the couple, Steinfeld recently opened up about her dream to live on a farm with Allen. Once the NFL season starts, however, the couple will relocate to Allen’s estate near Orchard Park in Buffalo.

Perhaps aiding in the decision to unload his offseason home, Steinfeld resides in Encino, a suburb northwest of LA about 80 miles from Dana Point. The Oscar-nominated actress purchased John Fogerty’s former home for $8 million in 2021, per Realtor.com. The 9,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a massive backyard with a built-in pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.
The famous couple spends the bulk of the offseason in Southern California. Last week, the “Sinners” star flashed her wedding band and ring while they stopped for baking supplies at a store in Calabasas.
Allen and Steinfeld also took a road trip down to San Diego in order to celebrate former Bills safety Micah Hyde’s surprise retirement party.
