‘Queer Eye’ Alum Bobby Berk Has a New Show Coming to HGTV

<p id=”par-1_31″>Is your collection trash or treasure? <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/queer-eyes-bobby-berk-reflects-career-journey-didnt-college.html/”>Design expert Bobby Berk</a> is here to help people figure out if their beloved knickknacks and collectibles are a secret goldmine or just worthless clutter. </p>

<p id=”par-2_52″>Berk will star in the new <a href=”https://cheatsheet.com/tag/hgtv”>HGTV</a> series <em>Junk or Jackpot </em>(WT)<em>, </em>the network announced July 10. The show, which is produced by <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/john-cena-criticized-dwayne-johnson-pivoting-acting.html/”>actor and wrestler John Cena</a>, will spotlight collectors who are eager to discover the true value of their large and unusual collections. It’s slated to premiere in late 2025. </p>

<p id=”par-3_78″>Over six episodes, Berk will work with people who’ve amassed massive collections of superhero figurines, rare puppers, dolls and miniature sets, and more. With Berk’s help, collectors will whether to part with some of their items in order to pay from a much-needed home upgrade. Berk will support the homeowners through the process of sorting through, appraising, and letting go of their stockpile. In the process, they’ll discover “found money” that will help them achieve a dream makeover. </p>

<p id=”par-4_50″>“Collecting is a personal pastime that brings joy and inspiration, but it’s easy to get carried away which can negatively impact your living conditions,” Berk said. “I’m excited to help passionate people sift through their cherished items and give them reimagined spaces that will best honor what they hold dear.” </p>

<p id=”par-5_36″>“The idea for <em>Junk or Jackpot? </em>was born out of a conversation I had with friends,” Cena shared. “People often wonder if their collections are trash or treasure, and this show will help them find out.” </p>

<p id=”par-6_54″>News of Berk’s latest TV venture comes shortly after Netflix announced that it was canceling <em>Queer Eye, </em>the show that launched Berk and his designs into the public eye. The reality series will <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/queer-eyes-bobby-berk-reflects-career-journey-didnt-college.html/”>end after its upcoming 10th season</a>. Berk left the show after season 8 amid rumors of tensions amid the Fab Five. </p>
