A pedestrian was in critical condition Sunday after an early morning vehicle collision in San Jose.
The San Jose Police Department responded to a call at 4:33 a.m. involving an incident in the area of Senter Rd. and E. Capitol Expressway.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries and remained in critical condition as of Sunday afternoon, according to SJPD.
Nearby roads were closed all morning as police investigated the collision. They re-opened the roads around noon.
