Three people have been arrested and placed in Larimer County Jail for their involvement in a shooting near downtown Loveland early Saturday morning.
Police received calls about shots fired just after midnight and every available police officer responded to the incident, according to a Loveland Police Department press release. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Christopher Hernandez, 22, is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder with extreme indifference involving a non-family member and a gun, as well as three additional complicity charges, three aggravated robbery charges, and three first-degree assault with a weapon charges. Hernandez also faces a second attempted first-degree murder after deliberation with intent and a gun charge, three additional charges of suspected drunken driving, three charges of criminal mischief from $300 to $1,000 in private property, three charges of second-degree assault on a police officer, three charges of resisting arrest, three charges of obstructing an officer, and three charges of vehicular eluding, according to Larimer County Sheriff’s Office records. Bond has been set at $100,000 for the attempted first-degree murder with deliberation charge. His vehicle was also impounded.
Amante Hernandez, 21, is also facing charges for attempted first-degree murder with extreme indifference, involving a non-family member and a gun, as well as an additional charge for complicity, aggravated robbery, and first-degree assault with a weapon. He is also facing charges for obstructing an officer. Bond has been set at $500 for the obstruction charge, according to Larimer County Sheriff’s Office records.
The police department arrested the third person connected to the incident Sunday. Tevin Grady, 29, is facing two counts of menacing charges and an additional charge of weapon possession by a previous offender, according to Larimer County Sheriff’s Office records. No bond has been set.
The Saturday incident is still being investigated. The department was unable to provide additional details on damages from the vehicle crash or shooting or details about why the individuals involved were in an altercation.
